Is there a basic tuning guide? I set my lotus carlton up last night (stuff like camber, toe in) based on some simple F1 knowledge and it improved it massivly but I know theres a lot more to come?

Now thats what you call a playstation Rob! Did the beginner FR races in my Lotus Carlton, whilst overpowered for the race it was very difficult as it likes to go everwhere sideways! A few choice mods were needed, soft sports tyres being the best!

There is so many excellent games coming next year. 2011 really is a jewel for gamers. Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Little Big Planet 2, Killzone 3, Motorstorm 3, Infamous 2, Last Guardian and Gears of war 3.

The Nurburgring is truly special, every little dimple, rut and camber can be felt:D My Lotus Carlton is truly epic, really struggling to save at the moment as something comes up in the used car dealership and I just have to buy it. They may not look the prettiest but boy do they go:D

On the gt wheel you can dial traction control in and out on the fly! :cool:

Just been getting silvers on some of the AMG special events, a real difference going from the gull wing to that AMG supercar thing on the intermediates! The wheel I was using just felt so much tighter, no sloppy slack like the gull wing lol!

Sorry if a repost but have just read that brake upgrades are going to be patched in. More proof that a half finished game was put out under pressure from Sony? Not that I'm complaining though, the more issues they patch out the better it becomes:D

Wheel is better but its perfectly servicable with a pad. TBH if this was out on xbox I wouldn't have even bought a wheel.

Thats probably a fair comment, I much prefer the time trial/special events compared to say the std races. Turkish I picked up the proper GT wheel today, pedals and 900 degree (2.5 turns) its ace:D What settings do people have this wheel on? I have the force feedback currently on 6/10 but may...

I think the answers in the question really. Unfortunatly you can only change/paint wheels on the premium models, the std cars in this game are alas second class citezens.
