^ Exactly what i was going to suggest. Trim down the elbow and it should give room for a CAF. Any problems with the Aeroform as you are not using the small L bracket?

No mate. Breather filter is a tiny little filter purely for the oil breather pipe.

After fitting, the kit fouls on the bonnet. What have you done to eliminate this?

I have heard the Sigma is much better than the Canon 75-300 and i'm not too keen on the idea of having the whole range built into one lens. It cant be very good quality.
