The limiter on my 1.2 16v was around 6,200rpm, 6k seems abit low tbh.

I don't want to piss on his fire but I know for a fact some people on here paid less than that new, whether thats spec for spec though is another matter.

Ah got you, but a clean Mondial Cup decked on H&R's as per Gaz's old one is RS Clio perfection.

Wash your mouth out Scotland! Mondial is much nicer, detailing a silver car is also largely pointless! The 197's have certainly grown on me, mine would be Albi Blue in R27 flavour although I would entertain Nimbus or Ultra.

Ah fair point, i just assumed Recaro supplied them to Renault complete but like you say Renault probably supplied Recaro with the fabric.

Seems a shame, I did think they looked alittle 'delicate' when i looked at one. I can sort or relate to what Alan's saying in that some people are very hard on things in terms of getting in and out the car but its still no excuse. Surely its a Recaro issue rather than a Renault issue?
