but the fact you drive a Black gold 54 plate182 around Edinburgh and just announced on a public forum that you have one.....is giving the game away to the thieving scum you so mentioned.

Biggest thing to worry about with in car sat nav....is the fact that if they do nick...

If you imagine your CCD as the "photograph" that you have a speck on, it should help you spot whereabouts the dirt is....i.e top left etc
You will also have to have your camera set on "bulb" to ensure the mirror is up and out of the way.
The dirt is on your CCD ...not on your mirror.
If it was on your mirror it would not be on your images, the mirror is just used for viewing
If its in the same place every time....with various lense types than its guaranteed to be on the CCD
I spend half my life cleaning CCD'S at work as our kit...

This is how the car was from the dealer.
Tomorrow I am replcing the F1's with Exalto's since the F1's are dead.
now....do I put the Exalto's front or rear???
Until I can afford 2 more Exalto's
BARUMS are...
Believe it or not the camera won't focus in daylight conditions.
As infrared needs to hit the sensor and a different focal plane.
If you have ever used IR film you always had to back focus.
Got my greasy mits on a FUJI IS PRO at work today.
It is a FUJI S5 infra red DSLR.
If anyone is interested on how it handles drop me a line, we have it for 2 weeks.
its going to be the BMW v MERCEDES thing......i.e NIKON v CANON
One piece of advice I would give you is ...if its going to be a long term investment you need to look at LENSES.
All the big names will be going full frame sensor in the next year or so and not all lenses will work.
Have a look at...
