You can see where the metal clip is fitted to the black plastic bulb holder you need to get your finger nails under the metal clip and lift it out and up on both sides.
Gutted mate, can't really help as I'm not up on electrics.
That said, pull the steering cowling off and take some pictures it might help people answer you.

Went on a mission to clean out some of my detailing gear today and found a nice new pack of 3m 2000 wet and dry, so as my lights had seen better days, I thought I would have a go.

I run DS2500 all round, Brembo HC'S on the front and standard discs on the rear.
Wouldn't bother with the 2500's on the rear as there is simply no need, hardly any braking done at the rear.
My advice would be 2500's and Brembo HC's up front, fresh OEM pads and discs on the rear, more than...
Brentacre are excellent, been untouchable past 3 years running.
Also like their nice plain and simple approach to modifications.
Greenlight wouldn't touch me (Won't insure 172cups) but in the past they had been good on my old motors.
