Some people might say its too loud but personally i love it! Can be quiet at the right speeds/throttle position but soon as you bury your foot people will know its there haha! I could do with getting a go pro and getting a video of it, it loves to pop and bang/spit flames.
My cat and centre section on the standard exhaust kept blowing was sick of it but my current set up is too loud to add a decat aswell ha! So he done this for me, this is mine. Ignore the Apex, they were awful and were from the last owner. Running on Spax now :)
Yeah I will dig them out now, I just got the cat sorted and then cat back no centre silencer and only 1 back box. Had my first car done by him 3 years ago and been back ever since and make all my mates go their too. His work is second to none.
No raise in tyre prices that i have seen yet.
Noise one is pointless as it is from outside the car, not an inside test.
Wet grip is a good one though, although for people already buying performance tyres such as Michelin/Pirelli its pretty obvious they will have high wet grip/poor fuel...
My girlfriends is awful. Its doing the screen freeze error when calling or receiving calls. This was known by Nokia and the update was meant to fix it, its made it worse if anything. Been sent away to see if it can be solved, so far an awful phone in my opinion.
These are starting to grow on me more and more.
If you loved the performance on F1's i wouldnt be changing down to a Toyo, the difference will be quite huge. I would stick with F1's or move to something like Michelins or Pirelli.
Yeah, I doubt you would see more than 5-6k out of a set of front federal rsrs. Where as the Michelins you will manage 15k easy for road use.
Federals are great for track days if you are doing plenty.
Pros will be the immense dry grip, cost. But cons will be not huge wet grip, probably not great on standing water although better than R888's! Plus with how fast they will wear, they will end up costing you more in the long run compared to what a set of Michelins would of cost/lasted for example.
I see this topic going downhill fast.
As said, suck it up. Maintain it, get some ncb built up and then move up to something faster/cheaper insurance where you can modify it legally.
I imagine you are already paying a fortune to insure it!
