lol they add more strain i removed mine and noticed my lights dimmed less (were talking a 1kw amp)
you'd be better off upgraging the batt to chassis to 25mm2 than adding a cap
i'd triple check the earth
i used an earth point that i saw as suitable but i got the low voltage input light come on the amp
one way to check is to hold a piece of wire on the bolt where you grounded it to the car and dab it on other bits of metal in the back. if it sparks it's a bad earth
um i think people need to realise cable size is dependent on current flow
8 awg = 40 - 50A
4 awg = 90 - 110A
0 awg = 250 - 280A
10 awg for speaker wire is fine if not a little over kill
um i'm on 4mbit ntl and i've done 30Gb+ in one day:S(i only reset my modem if it plays up)
i'm sure that all ntl bb services are unlimited as i don't think they actually implimented there traffic monitoring software
i personally don't like them as i'm an RMS type of guy
so when it takes about 15 mins to find the RMS of there gear it just makes you think that they are s**t and need spurious "watts" figures to make them look good
