have you tried rotating it 180 degrees and reinserting? i've got these in mine they are quite bright

easy peasey use the remote to switch a relay then you can run as much as you like as the remote is 12v

yeah it was a sweep from about 80Hz down to about 20Hz. yeah should get that with a pair of RE xxx's:D you'd be surpised how amps work they have a better THD the nearer you get to full output. i'd say go with one amp they are designed to run at 100% output 24/7

well if you get a 4 channel on and use channel 1+ 2 for the comps and bridge 3and 4 for a sub but they normally only bridge into 4 ohms

either get a mono amp and a 2 channel or a 4 channel if the sub is a 4 ohm one

yeah i got a freecom usb stick one that came with a little aerial and i could only get like 3 channels. but does come with a aerial input so just need a big un in the attic

you need a channel per speaker/set mono amps are usually for subs and can normally run two subs easily 2 channel amps can normally run a Bridge tied load @ 4 ohms so good for a single sub

lol i like the way you used earth cable. is it ok at starting as you must get a fair bit of volt drop when pulling starting current

nah 13cm is right for the rears. i got a nice infinty sub{perfect 12vq}(well two lol) and they sound sweet in a small box with a good bit of power up. also you need an amp for the comps at least as there is no point spending that on them and running it off the hu

yeah if you put dc into them (i'm sure most would die if you did that before it outputed anything). it cotains more power because it rises at a sharper angle too thus making the wave wider

never going to get dc it will be a square wave. yeah clipping is damaging because it contains more power (nearly double in some cases)

but a cliping amp is producing more power because a square wave has a larger area that the amp is going to be 'on'.
