to any one with an alpine with a 3-way switch on can run one set of comps from all 4 channels

if pre wired get some co-ax speakers to go in there but you might not have the output on the head unit for them. if they aint pre wired leave um out as they are not needed imho

if you turn your hu up too loud it will produce a clipped signal (even on the pre-outs) but it sounds like it might be just sheer power they gave into or you may have killed the cap for the tweeter thus giving it full range rather than just the highs

sounds like it's dead. are they running off an amp or a the hu? either way sounds like you might have been giving them a clipped signal

they do look good next to the HID's i'm yet to see mine in the dark

i think the exhaust is blowing on my car but i can't tell where from. where is the most likely place for it to come from near the front end??? or is it a case of taking it to the place that fitted my custom one and getting them to have a look?

i've never had a problem with ritek dvd-r discs i'm not sure how you do it WMP so i'm no help on that sorry

i think they would look good as sidelights but not sure as an interior light can't really tell as it's still light

problem there is a massive difference between sidelights and xenons. sidelights run of 12v xenons run at 85v (20kV to start them) so the voltage needs to be altered by the starter and ballast

the only other thing i could suggest is give it a good sniff see if anything smells a bit wrong

i don't know how the lights attach to the wiring of the car so just wondering if you had to swap any wires or anything

have you altered any connections to the lights?

id say there is f**k all wrong with the wiring in your car as it would operate fuses with your normal lights. i wouldn't take them to renault as they seem to just guess at what the problem is and charge you when they f**k up

strange as i could under stand one being f**ked but both:( sounds like you need a new set of starters. what size fuse is in the headlights?

the starters are fucked by the sounds of it. are you trying them both together or one at a time?

id say he means either the starter or the ballast (i'd guess starter)

from what i've heard the focals can be a bit too bright at the top end

lol lamps is the correct name for the bulbs

do the lamps look ok? as i'd guess they would look fucked if they were(like most HID lamps)
