a local auto shop, didnt find local renault very helpful. it was £9.80

I have just fitted a new thermostat, was really easy to fit. seems to have fixed the problem, temp gauge stays half way all the time now. thanks for everyones input

Firstly a blue 182 on the M4 coming up to reading, follwed me for a bit till i turned off. then in the oracle, a red 182 trophy which was very nice. lastly a blue 172 or 182 in springfield road windsor, looked lowered. anyone?

i again need these parts and was going to get them from gsf, but as said above do they actually not fit or work properly then?

sorry to hijack the thread, but i have the same problem that the first setting on the windscreen wipes doesnt work. Do you think that my car might have had a rain sensor that has be previously removed causing this. are the ways of telling?

i agree standard 172 alloys wouldnt look that good white. but then i like white wheels on blue cars when done right, so maybe try other wheels.

no never goes above half way. just wanted to check the drop in temp was normal really as its under warranty and want to iron out any faults before its too late

I have noticed that when i drive around town my temp gauge show half way, but then if i go on the motorway it drops to the second line. is this normal? can understand due to airflow temp will go down but seems a bit too much.

i tried to fit a standard air box on my 172 yesterday, only to realise that firstly they have cut the inlet pipe so i cant refit the airbox. does anyone know a good place to get a new pipe. Also i noticed that whoever put the induction kit never put the breather pipe on the back of the engine...
