I'd feel like a bit of a bell end driving through town with pops and bangs, great for a blast though. Shame you can't just turn them on or off with the flick of a switch.
Might be Mullybaby, I know he lives out near Cross in Hand so could have been going by at that time as I think he works shifts (he works in the same office complex as me in TW)
For the sake of £120 (or whatever a dephaser pulley costs), I'd get it done now. Unfortunately when my cam kit was done, I didn't even know what a dephaser pulley was, let alone the fact that a mere 6 weeks later it would cost me nearly £400 to replace it. I wish I'd been told about them sooner...
I recently had two V12s fitted for £130 (on the front) and so far I am very happy with them. My PE2s performed right up until I changed them over, they were very good tyres, but in all honesty I can't really tell the difference so far (comparing PE2s new and V12s new). Therefore for the sake of...
Where do you live? I had mine fitted by AMD Essex in Thurrock, they supply and fit it. Obviously if you live in Scotland this isn't much good though.
Power wise, unless you get a decat it won't make a difference. Unfortunately I don't know what power gains you get with a decat.
Parked up outside Mr India, I was heading home to Punnetts Town to eat easter egg and drink beer.
I also saw a White 200 outside P&P in Tunbridge Wells, and a Blue 1*2 drive past P&P as well. Both about 6.30-7ish
Thanks Doug, I've emailed Dave with my details.
I'll let you know about the bushes once I fit the new brackets. They look properly squashed though but perhaps they'll be ok.
How much are they out of interest?
I do wedding photography on the side of my full time job. I started in August last year and started out charging around £500 for a whole day (around 10-12 hours). Now I charge between £650 and £850 (depending on the package and the client's requirements) which seems to be the going rate for what...
The AF in low light on the 50mm 1.8 is shockingly bad. However it is definitely a lens worth owning as it's incredibly good value.
The Mk1 is better built and has a metal mount, although they're a bit hard to come by and are probably more expensive. Optically they are pretty much the same.
Flickr is really straight forward once you've used it for a while. Stick with it and you'll soon pick it up :)
I'd highly recommend paying for a Pro account though, check it out.
Thanks dude. It's a Milltek.
Just felt right for the shots :)
I've started using Photobucket as the iPhone app is awesomely simple, and it's just quick to upload shots to when I want to share. I use Flickr for my 'proper' photos, although these are on there now as well.
I had a similar dilemma and I opted for Ktec coilovers. I love the ride height, and now I have a rear ARB the handling is spot on. The only downside is that a lot of the roads I drive aren't great and they can be a bit uncomfortable.
