is a bit of an arse but its going to be delt with now, but as far as feeling down on power both dan and andy from ktec have driven it and theyve both said it doesnt feel to down on power, but obviously the rollers showed othewise.
it was down on power by 40 bhp, however it had alot of bottom...
The gear box died the other day and danny has the needed bits to revert it back to a 172 engine, so though sod it may as well! makes a change to be putting a ph1 back together as aposed to the latest trend of breaking them for parts!
Driving up the a1 this morning in 5th at about 90, lift off the accelerator and it pops out of gear and won't go back into 5th unless i slow down shift into 4th and then back upto 5th at which point it just pops out again! is this the syncro that's died?
spot on mate! turbines are the way forward ive got a bright red ones on my ph1. they are buggers to keep clean though!
and loose the centre caps and get some coloured wheel bolts.
im looking for a stud conversion and need some help on what size i need and what people can recomend. i think the size is m12 x 1.5 but not sure what length thread i need.:S

didnt ruin my day to much, was a bit pissed but then remembered its coming back to me with decat, ktec group n engine mounts , stiff dog bone bush and an engine that doesnt shower oil every where :) i got the car from a dodgey garage in buckinghamshire somewhere last august for £1400.

basically to look at from the out side the engine is identical but since dan took the head off it has shown its true self! which sucks.
it has the 172 ecu and has had a remap. as dan has said it looks like its just got megane block and pistons but itll have to stay like that...
i was going to slap some r888's on them but cant get hold of any at the moment so im going to have to settle with some t1r's.
ill get the camera out in a bit and take some decent pics of them as my phone makes them look slightly pink :dapprove:
just picked these up from pristene wheels after they did an amazing refurb on them.
i expect that they're not to everyones tastes but, oh well! they'll be going on a silver ph1 with usual bullets and badges to match and when i can afford it a roll cage to match.

well as it was such a nice day i decided to paint my air intake and injector guard as they were both looking pretty turd, i think they came out fairly good.
