yes you would get double the power i.e 600 watts if you half the resistance you DOUBLE the current 100v / 4 ohms = 25 amps 100v / 2 ohms = 50 amps

if you didnt miss type the you was WRONG because a single channel amp would have to power both subs each being 300 watts x 2 = 600 watts RMS

the starter pack may have causeed the expoled lamp because they contain a current limiting resistor to limit the amount of power inputing into the lamp. if this resistor stopped resisting then it would send a silly amount power which would blow up the lamp as described (p.s sorry for jabbering...

a bit off topic but my car isnt lowered but i had more rubbing on my original wheels (15" dynamique) than my 17s also how do you measure your offset cos i dont know what mine are and i was think of getting some coilovers? cheers dink
