Finally gave in and got a 3/4 plate...
Not the best picture's in the world. Was going to take some this weekend but never really got round to it... Too busy taking picture's of car's at the meeting mentioned elsewhere on the forum.
Me and a friend decided yesterday that despite every other mate of our's dropping out that we would still go to this anyway. So a healthy almost 2 hour trip there today with the sat nav refusing to work we found it pretty easily actually lol.
Just thought i'd supply you all with some picture's...
Having issues. On anybody's profile i go onto i can't scroll down it. Deleted and reinstalled about 20 times, literally. New interface released tonight and still having the problem. Again i've deleted and reinstalled and still the same.
Sometimes it won't even load the profile.
Any ideas?
My friend spotted this in Newark... Was an RS Clio apparently but i'm unsure as to what model. All i know is it was red (not a Flamer) and had 2 exhausts. So i'm guessing a Trophy, 197 or 200 lol. Apparently it was really nice though! Haha.
Anyone?
Spotted at some lights. Not that familiar with the area, sorry lol.
Was a Cup though and had a yellow tow eye with a private plate beginning with J iirc.
Be about 3.10pm something like that, today.
Been wanting spacer's for a while now and after seeing the PB 182 on this forum it spurred me on even more.
In the end i went for 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, hubcentric's ofcourse.
The front before:
And after:
The back before:
And after:
Also a few better pic's of the...
Well today weather wise has been s**t tbh lol. But we got a bit of a dry spell so i decided to give the Flamer a clean.
Unfortunately half way through it rained :( But i persevered and eventually it stopped.
Decided to take some picture's but unfortunately a lot of them came out a bit...
Made a small trip to Thoresby Hall today. My Dad and his mate are Ford nut's and a few mate's of mine are Jap nut's so went to have a gander.
I managed to get moaned at by a Cortina owner for taking a Renault :D
My mate Ste won best Lexus/Toyota:
Mine and my Dad's...
I was just pulling onto Nottingham Road as you were going down. Not seen it around Mansfield before but looked very nice.
Not sure if it was a 197 or 200 though... My memory really is pants lol.
Sunday 29th (today/yesterday depending on how picky you're being with time :rasp: )
Down Matlock i spotted a Liquid Yellow (yes, liquid - not sunflower) ph1 on anthracite rim's?
Also i think Coop but in the ph1, not the Turbo.
Okay, so my car is struggling with a flat spot just before the 'power band'. But also sometimes it's a lot worse than just a flat spot and it's literally like hitting a brick wall with the acceleration.
I don't lose speed it just won't accelerate any further for a few seconds. The whole car...
Passed me as i was pulling out of work on Bath Lane. Followed you for a short while (not in a stalker way lol) and noticed a ClioSport.net sticker in the window.
Just a few half decent picture's now that i have the Skoda splitter on... Yes, i gave in :rasp:
Not my finest moment with a camera but they're alright...
So, with us having decent weather recently i decided to book today off work and machine polish the RS.
Sadly no before or during shot's... Once i've started working at it i tend to forget and focus on what i'm doing lol.
Method...
Good rinse
2BM wash with Chemical Guy's Glossworkz
Good rinse...
Went for my first proper ride on the Zed today for those who care about 2 wheels.
Coming from my Ducati Monster 620 the Zed absolutely flies. Very smooth bike and very easy to ride (although the Ducati was very easy too tbh).
Can't wait for proper summer weather to come and rack up the...
Been and took some picture's of the car after fitting the new RS badge.
Also got treated to a new backbox and a decat this week so would be rude not to take it for a spin! :o
Lowered about same as mine and same exhaust as mine lol (although mine's getting swapped Monday, at last!). Almost a twin.
You were going down Bath Lane about 5pm. Passed my work's entrance just as i was leaving.
Right folks,
Now the Clio is lowered (albeit a bit too much until Saturday :o ) i'm thinking that it needs some spacers. The front wheels sit very far in.
Has anybody fitted spacers? What width did you use?
On the front, did it have any side effects to the drive? The wheels feel a bit...
Sorry for all my noob question's lately people. I knew plenty about Saxo's but know next to nothing about RS Clio's :(
Right, i've ordered some K-Tec coilover's for my ph2 172. I've heard some people have trouble regard's catching once lowered. I'll be going down about 40mm, 50mm max(!)...
Hi Folks,
Bit of a dilemma here. My Clio is currently sporting one of these twin tailpipe job's (both on the same side)... I'm unsure what make it is but it looks decently quality and sounds nice. Not loud, pretty quiet. It's a cat back system too.
The only problem is i don't like it. I'd...
Hopefully in the next couple of month i'm going to get some coilover's sorted out. But i haven't got a clue who to take it to for setting the camber etc up once i've fitted them.
Any recommendation's? :) Local as possible but not mind an hours trip if i have to lol.
Wahey. Got one after year's of wanting one :)
Bought this at a bargain price. Cambelt and de-phaser need's doing but at the price i got it for it honestly doesn't matter haha :D
67k miles on her too, so the sort of mileage i wanted.
Detailed her today and put new number plate's on. Didn't...
