Yeah full hardware check would be a good idea. The c0000006 is an in page error so it looks like its gone to grab something that's valid but paged out, coupled with the I/O error almost certainly hardware.

If you've got a decent PC then download titanfall beta and give it a go. Its not for everyone but if you enjoy face paced shooters you might enjoy it. I think many people complaining are overlooking the fact its a beta.

Some poorly written software will not trigger a prompt for elevation. Even though an account has admin rights it doesn't run with them until elevated. Until then its running with a restricted token. Start a command prompt as administrator (right click -> run as admin) then try launching...

Of course it lets an admin install stuff. Seriously, do you think there are millions of Windows 8 users just sat there with nothing installed apart from that included with the O/S??
