i am completley ignorant to it all if i'm honest. I was looking at that bora thread and the amount of the products he uses, then i remember that red e36 thread someone posted. I don't get it, like whats hard paint? and what if it rains the next day wasnt it a waste of time?
I've seen loads of threads on different forums where people detail their cars and spend days using all these different products and clays etc and the results are stunning like the Bora and Trophy on this forum. It all baffles me its like another language with all the product names etc maximum...
There was an invoice but just for the timing belt and that was about 10000 miles ago and about 2 years i think. Didn't look at who did them though. It was a a bit lumpy when i first started it but it seemed to calm down after a couple of minutes, is that anything to worry about?
what do yous think of this its got part service history and its had the timing belt done. There was a strange vibrating sound coming near the rear view mirror, the dealer said it was a sensor :S...
I'm still about a month off getting one mate but i will defo check what you have
Too many miles for my liking mate and really don't want another black car, ever
I like 172 cups but i can't see any that I don't think have been hammered plus coming out of a saxo i would like a few mod cons. I love phase 1 172s and if i could find a decent one with low miles and good service history i would jump at that. I went to have a look at this yesterday its got part...
I have £3000 to buy a 1*2 did originally want a cup packed racing blue 182 but some things came up and not got the budget for that anymore. Seen as there is both 182 and 172s for this price i just thought I'd ask what you lot would expect for the money?
Not havin a go but i don't get these videos, they have just lowered old mercs and put some wheels on, then go on about it like its a lifestyle choice. You wouldn't see a video with a bloke saying he's put coilovers and turinis on clio because his dad picked him up from school in a laguna.
Re: Ph2 172
3500 seems alot for a 172 lol looking for one myself but wouldn't want to spend over 3k theres tidy 182s for that. Looks tidy though and thats the best colour
Just got back from Paris with the Girlfriend. Found out about this Renault exhibition place on the Champs Elysees being a geek i got pretty excited about it and managed to convince the girlfriend to pay a visit with me. Was gutted though when i got there and it was an electric car exhibiton...
just read his ad on here he seems really genuine and you can look back though his post history regarding the car. He also says that he will fix the power steering problem. I'd go for that one defo
If you really want a car the size of a house with drug dealer wheels and blacked out windows to go to sainsburys and the local salon then i'm not going to judge you its your money and I'm always leaving stuff on standby so i can't bang on about the ice caps. However just displaying some basic...
I've got a similar budget mate and i was after a 182 with cup packs but i've been told the best bet is a 172 cup. Best to drive and cheaper labour times at the garage of something goes wrong because theres no aircon unit. I have a vtr at the moment so even the cup will feel refined in comparison.
