If they cant provide the above u want an equivalent or better car until u have the tax disc showing in your windscreen. I would not accept to drive about in anything less than yours for 6 weeks.
They are really strict on tax these days, if u havent taxed your vehicle within a month of it...
When u purchase a car second hand u fill in the top part to show the new details and the old owner should send that off and u keep the bottom part which has your details hand written on and u can use this to tax a vehicle if your logbook hasnt arrived in time.

The star shape still on the gearstick needs to come off then the new knob will slide straight on but may move slightly so I used super glue. I had the same problem fitting mine the star shape on the gearstick should stay connected inside the knob.

I have a 1.9 Pug which runs a bit like that when its ticking over doesnt really hold at 1000rpm, Ive been told it needs mapping to solve it...dont know whether its the same problem though.

The invoice for mine new is showing £15,000 on the nose which includes delivery pack, mats, no. plates, R.F.L and Renault care which was £400 on its own with only 12 miles on the clock.
