6 cell maglite for weaponage, but a 2 million candle power homebase special is more practical for lighting up things ;) . It comes with a 12v car plug to use/charge from the car and only costs £15. Failing that they do a 5m candle power one for £20.
These are the next VTS/R as they are so cheap now they will be in the hands of our countrys council estate's finest.
Local garage has a 52 plate of £3k. I'd have one over a ph1 172 for the same sort of money.
Ouch! That doesnt look good. Any pics of the front end damage? Most probably write it off due to the age of the car.
Shame it didnt destroy those lexarse lights ;)
Hope you feel better soon.
So true about having to learn how to drive it properly. Only just starting to get the potential out of mine.
Still havent turned off the traction control yet. The big pussy that I am.
Do it properly if you want xenons. Please dont add to the chavy hid conversions you see on shitbox corsas, ax's and on some 1.2 clios.
They are dangerous to other road users and look crap imo.
Renault charge about £300 for the proper kit. They do come up on ebay.
I first learnt to drive in a MG Metro Turbo that was me mums car. When I was learning she used to encourage me to speed! There was a local industrial estate where there was this huge car park with very loose gravel surface. It was there I learnt about how to handbrake turn, j-turn and spin out...
Its not that big tbh, its amusing, but not as good as a turbo kicking in.
I prefer the build up from 4k to about 5.5k as thats when things start to get fun. Anything after 5k your ears start to bleed imo.
Its all about seats!
Depends on if you need 5 seats or 2. I need to cart around the dog, friends, olds etc every now and then so that would rule a vee out for me. Unless, I could run one as a weekend toy as much as it pains me to say it, I'd have the bmw.
...... f**k that! I'll make them all...
What fuel are you using? Mine averages between 33 and 36 mpg. Reset every full up which is a full tank. Run from London > Bristol I got 44mpg sat at 70ish.
If you sat at a constant 80 its just starting to come on cam as you are coming up to 4k revs so its going to start drinking fuel quicker...
If you mean the 20v turbo I asked the same question not long ago. It seems the 172 will have the edge.
Saying that the 172 has the edge over a Veyron if you believe 90% of the stuff on here  Happy times :D
