Most probably, I was behind you in the drive through.

Around 8.30, in 3 lakes. 54 plate IIRC, CS sticker in the rear window, some form of aftermarket exhaust I think too.

    The JDM Appreciation Thread...

Looks well done, but the light covers, bumper, colour, & BGW ruin it for me.

    Project: BMW E21.

Fresh paint picks up swirls just looking at it, it stays soft for a few weeks regardless of what hardeners/oven time it's had.

    Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3 project

Keep it up fella, should be spot on once you're done.

I think it's just you, because this has 80k miles ;) They weren't built to be pretty in any way really, that's the appeal.

I never noticed it go up on there. I'll have to go look lol.

I'm not that up to speed with RBs yet, but I'll try.

Aye they're a big old unit lol. Bloody SR20 was heavy enough and that was an Ally block.

June at this rate. They can have oil starvation issues, particularly when tuned or used hard. When the belts are due an uprated pump will go in, should spare the big ends from losing lubrication!

    Orange price rise

I'm glad I only have to pay it for a couple of months, contract will then be up and I'll be looking elsewhere.

Yeah the Newera one that's been for sale forever! It'll be my only car, but I'll be trying to keep the mileage down TBH. Might get another shitter to use for mundane stuff, depending on whether I can do it cheap enough.

    Bit of Jap crap...

R32 GTR insured for £800 at 21? Get one bought now, It's nearly £1300 for me lol.

    Bit of Jap crap...

Flux never gave a s**t, no power limit, no mod limit, just said crack on basically!

    Bit of Jap crap...

Insurance has gone mental. Mine was £780 with 290bhp declared at 21. There's no wonder you've got so much poke on it with those wheel specs lol.

No not really, a few scuffs and the stone chipped front splitter. It's a Grade 4, the next is 4.5 which is basically showroom condition, but a used car. R33s are the fat sister in my book. Probably is Roy, performance engines need more revs until they're getting warm!

    Gaz.'s Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

So some reckon. I've always been told 300-320 @ the fly. That's on Jap fuel though.

    Gaz.'s Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

Most proper Jap stuff idles at 1500rpm until it's warm Dave! I'd love a brutal powered one like that vid. Can't see it happening mind lol.

I wanted Gunmetal the most, but TBH I like them in any factory colour bar silver. Gunmetal does seem to be the most common, sells for a bit more too with being in favour.

I never hated the Mazda. It pissed me off at times, but that's to be expected with a Rotary. What I really hated was the lies I was fed by a supposedly reputable forum member who sold it me.

New turbo? Turbos, there's 2 of the buggers to replace if they die! 6 cylinders, so coilpacks, leads, plugs, injectors etc inevitably end up costing you more than a 4 pot. Then there's the inevitable RB26 tax on aftermarket parts, and I'm always a believer in uprating if something breaks. That's...

    Gaz.'s Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

Much with any car, depends how they're treated, state of tune etc. It's a 19 year old Grp A developed race car for the road, there's always the potential for something to die on you.

    Gaz.'s Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

Road tax - old school system of engine capacity, over 2.0l - think it's currently £235 for 12 months. Insurance for me - £12-£1300. Maintenance is normal to me coming from the 200sx and RX7, talking very regular oil changes with fully synth (2-3k miles) etc.

    Gaz.'s Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

It's not bravery, it's stupidity. It'll bankrupt me no doubt, but I'll be glad I did it TBH.
