They were set rather soft, still didn't rate them. This was years back now, when BC first started being heard of.
The spring rates were harder than the HSDs I had on the 200SX and RX7, utterly ridiculous for a little car like that!
ABS/SERV and Traction Light have been on Soph's car for a few weeks now. Had a sniff around it today checking the ABS rings (fronts are fairly crusty but not cracked), and noticed the N/S/R caliper sticking. After playing with that, it appears the piston isn't retracting after the handbrake is...
Small update...
Picked up a front & rear Nismo strutbrace, only got the front fitted currently as I'm waiting on some cut out boot liners instead of chopping mine up.
I've never really been into strut braces, but these were rare, Nismo, and the front has the built in Brake master cylinder...
Started toying with idea of a bare metal respray in a more resilient form of paint that can chip without going straight to bare metal. Won't be cheap and changes plans for the car. However, I can't live with it chipping like a t**t every 5 metres down a road.
Really glad I washed it last night, because it has ended in this...
So pissed off, a huge stone chip right above the windscreen flaked paint off when washing it, plus I found a s**t tonne of little ones it had picked up. Barely done 600 miles on UK roads and it's getting ruined.
Don't...
Highly doubt it has an electric oil or coolant pump that kicks in when turned off, it's an SR20 running a GT28, not some monstrous 800bhp turbo! Don't think I've seen anybody in the SX community ever even look into it, and there's a lot of highly tuned ones.
More Space. Less Weight. It's ugly. It's only for emissions.
Seems to be fine under load Marco, had it full bore in 1st - 4th, had it cruising in all gears (which is where it was spluttering). Felt better on the cold map too, but then it is a stinking hot day.
SHE'S BACK! **Touch Wood**
So after a farcical 2 and a bit weeks, it seems I've got it running right again. After smashing the MAF, I bit the bullet and bought 2 used ones. Tested them with no load on the engine through the Consult software & all seemed fine.
Then I noticed one of the O2...
I was also checking Japan's versions of AutoTrader, and at the time there was about 300 R32s for sale! There's loads of the popular stuff out there still.
Aye, because I've got £1000s to chuck at new management & mapping! I've got an update to do TBH, but it's pretty irrelevant as it's sat waiting on 2 Lambda Sensors that should have been here on Monday.
