Yea shame about the weather. I stuggled big time to get traction with those A048's. Would spin in 3rd at 60+ back end wouldn't stop poppin out which made driving a real task! Had to stay in 4th most the time.
The 106 went really well mind! Looked really smart too! Did u get any decent pics...
Right tomorrow it is. Some decent cars coming..-Caterham-S/C fiesta-340bhp 20v turbo -tuned R26 / tuned 106-R27-Type RWere Leaving 10am from maccys Kingstown Carlisle.Piers.
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Not for me but for the mrs. I might blag her to swap her mk3 1.5dci (86) for one. She gets high 40's on motorway at 70/80 which is s**t for a diesel. It's ok around the town mind. High 50's. You have to drive like a grandad to stay above 60...

Looking tidy Gib!
So, after a few miles in it. How's it on fuel? How far on a tank, MPG, Cost to fully fill etc?
It will last as long as u want it too. My Caterham is 32 years old granted the milage isn't high (53k) but just replace things as they need doing. It be fine.
Just keep it maintained well, driven properly and it will last a life time ;)
Looking brilliant Russ! What power have you settled for then? Yea ul have to get mark to come along in his SC'd 106 too!! :) plus u havent even seen the old Caterham yet!
The usual local lot will no doubt be attending this run.
TheEvilGiraffe - tried that loads mate, not idea why it wouldn't...
We just got 230miles out of the Clio for £23 until the light came one (60miles left in reserve) ul have to do
Something similar and see how Many miles u can get!! Haha
one word = Epic.
id love to have the balls to spend that kinda money on a small hatch! what a buzz that would be to drive! good on you mate!
BTW i assume uv got an LSD for it? (sorry not read through the whole thread)
