I got a tesco prepay internet phone the other week for £7.
Free calls to other tesco phones. 2p per minute to everyone else and you get a proper number i.e. 01904 XXX XXX etc
Yay! Beryl is awsome!
I cant wait for KDE 4 to come out properly. I went back to Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy after 7.04 didnt like my laptop too much. Wifi and graphics crashes.
Xandros is very good atm. I seem to have gone through about 10 distros over the last month or so...Well not quite 10:
Ubuntu...
I didnt used to hate Microshaft when I first started using Ubuntu, but the more I read into the Linux community the more pissed I get at M$.
Btw I tried PCLinuxOS at the weekend and its great. Xandros is good but not as good as Ubuntu IMO.
ouch! Thank goodness his mods where insured.
It does make me laugh when trolls on here say that they would pop the bonnet and sort out any mods before the insurance company got their hands on it.
I think I'm going to pop out at lunch and buy myself a fire putter outter! Been meaning to buy...
I'll have to check mine now when I get home... probably no such luck.
My pay as you go on orange when I was at college worked for months without any credit on it. How I abused that as much as I could.
wtf for this time? Someone has sharpened there mod stick!
Wonder when the new mods trial period finishes.... I suspect someone is trying their hardest. I recon they have targets:
15 cautions
5 undeserved bans
100 naughty steps
50 tellings offs about iffy threads
Anyone who doesnt hit their...
mofo you dirty ****!
btw lookup www.ubuntu.com and install version 7.4 download something called beryl from: http://wiki.beryl-project.org/index.php/Install/Ubuntu and that will make your PC look great!
Even better idea. What about a Mac mini. £399 and pretty decent. Use an emulator to run your windoze software on it or get rid of mac os and put ubuntu on it with wine to emulate windows.
lol, I was thinking the same thing.
You could build your own. I remember years ago some uber geeks managed to get a PC into a pizza box.
If you specced your own PC and used a flash hdd, onboard everything the pc needs to be no bigger than the mboard.
You need a press for the fronts iirc.
I did my rear bearings afew weeks ago, but they were and absolute b*****d to get out with a hammer and 30mm socket, that took about 2hrs of battering!
Rear bearings were £23 + vat.
probably, but why would you want to fill it with stuff and weight down the front?
I know there is bugger all storage space but thats the price of the vee.
Is that liquid yellow cos it looks funking sexwee!
