I have just taken a quick pic of my car as it has been raining for a wee while and as you can see, there are a few nice Teflon blobs still sitting! The light's not good outside but you can see it's nice and blobby!
Looks like Teflon wax is popular in the States!!

All I did was to wash the car, leather it off, then spray the Teflon wax onto the cloth, apply it to my car and as it was sunny and warmish it dried fairly quickly. I then cleaned off the residue with a clean duster and hey presto... my car was instantly smooth and shiny! I couldn't see how much...
What have you done Alex, cleaned your car or changed your number?
I've been moving my number from car to car since 1992!!! This is the longest I've kept a car!!
I said above that I haven't touched any of the trim and only tested the Teflon stuff on the main panels! ;)
Sorry it's in the wrong place... I'm sure it'll be moved! :o I've just taken another pic since the sun has gone down!
I'm not lowering it as it's fine for me as it is... I put the OZ wheels on my car after I had done 200 miles in it in Feb 2002 and immediately the car looked so much better and although it's five years old, it still looks pretty newish and as I have a personal plate, the age isn't evident and...
I gave my car a quick wash this afternoon, leathered it off and spent 30 mins trying out Cusco Kid's Teflon spray cleaner on it and my car is now very shiny and smooth. :approve:
I have only cleaned the main panels and none of the trim/mirrors etc as I only wanted to try the Teflon stuff, so...
Now now children! ;) Everyone has their favourite wax/polish, call it what you will. It's a pity that a few people have been quite unpleasant towards Cusco Kid and if you aren't interested in his Teflon 'cleaning product' why **** him and it off? Hopefully we'll soon see some evidence of the...
Cusco kid's pics don't look as though they were taken in a good light and also the car is wet! Pic obviously wasn't taken just to pose on here otherwise it would have been leathered off I would have thought!
I've darkened this one slightly and it looks marginally better! Might have been better...
cusco kid I think your pictures possibly don't do your polish justice as the light isn't very good and would be better in a different light. I have pics of my car when the shine looks really deep and reflective and others where because it was maybe too sunny it looked too glary and not as good!
It isn't everybody who is good at spelling and some people suffer from Dyslexia, which doesn't help their spelling and I have seen messages on here before where "teacher types" have been told to lay off correcting or criticising poor spellers. Sometimes people are put off posting on websites if...
I agree with you thinking you are being a little hard on cusco kid! Also he was already a member and has not come on here just to sell his polish!!
Being an obsessive car cleaner I did a quick search online for car polish containing Teflon and found some info and would be happy to give it a...
I've not heard of Teflon in car polish before.. it sounds good to me!
I found these two messages from people who had used it on a Scooby
website.....
Fantastic polish!! Easiest ever to put on and take off car. Glass is so clean it looks like its been removed! Car is slippier than an oiled up...
Aww I think some of you are not being very nice to cusco kid who only came on to mention about some new silicon polish and to offer a discount to Cliosport members! :dapprove:
We have this Panasonic 50" Plasma TV and the picture is really sharp and crisp.
The screen seemed huge when we first got it, but as our room
is big, the TV doesn't seem so big now we're used to it.
Rugby and football is particularly good on it...
I didn't say it was quicker than the 182!! But 6.9 is still pretty nippy ;)
Renault are calling the 197 F1 Team the "spiritual successor to the
legendary Clio Williams" and are building 500 of them in Liquid Yellow.
Did anyone read the article in the Auto Express today about the F1 Clio?
It sounds pretty nippy - 0-60 in 6.9 secs!
There's an article here about it...
Re: Clio Bonnet Failure on Watchdog.. BBC1 now..
I spoke to my local garage guys today and the boss told me that his mechanics always grease everybody's door, bonnet and boot catches during a service as a matter of routine and he said they had quite a few phone calls today from worried Clio...
They have everything needed for Renaults Fred, as one of the mechanics was a Renault main dealer mechanic for nine years and when he left there, all his customers went with him so they do a lot of Renaults (and anything else) and loads of the old dears round my way seem to have Clios!!!
I think I am going to ask my local garage to change mine as it's coming up for five years of age! I feel as though I should keep the car for a couple more years as it's had a lot of new parts and last week it had new brake discs/pads etc all round and I can feel the difference with my brakes now...
