The cup defo has a fbw throttle as Reno told me so on the phone...a few interesting points about the cluth I can still stall mine if i dont rev it slightly on take off.... Frosty who did you get to fit the ECU was it a reno garage or the boys down at r-sport? Think Ill be ordering one nxt...

It looks naerly brand new, the wheels are sparkling what a shame..........I know how much I appreciate mine now!

Cupsize have a look at my post about the ecu upgrade, Im sure BMW are laughing at us! I still think the cup will keep up with the Cooper S works, and yes Cooper S boy those are the figures, go buy autocar the Cooper bloke is in it!

Ive just dug the r-sport number out and they tell me that they are the only people supplying the part and they can deliver it to your dealer to fit... It gives no great increase on 0-60 and top end,however, delivery is supposed to better and smoother, and this apparently makes the car easier...

Just rung Reno in Sheff and they havent got a clue what Im talking about.......they thought Id bought an ECU and not a car!! So whats the crack....

I had the same problem but Reno were the culprets.... So they bought me a spare and now I have spare wheel at Home in the Garage as we dont want to carry all thay weight around do we! There about £140..from memory!

So this is a proper Cup upgrade ECU and what are the gains? Is it about 5% Does anyone have a part number, as I dont just want a standard Cup ECU!

So is this upgrade available ? When can I get it and where from? PM please...........

Jesus christ mine has never beeped in its life, all that happens is that the centre light flashes! How long are you supposed to press the button for I just press till the lights flash then walk away!! Is this armed... I have noticed that it will beep if the doors or windows arent shut...

So does anyone have any idea if the promised mods are to take place, and if so when? This isnt even funny anymore.........I need more power and a sweet sounding exhaust

Paul arent they your 17 ins as they look loads bigger than mine! And what do you use to get your wheels so clean?

Surely if you replace the filter every 2 - 2500 miles it wont shag your engine, if seriously thinking of buying one of these filters? Any other advice?
