Left Hand Drive is a Pain in the Arse on country roads. You just cant get a look around for overtaking, especially if there are hedges or trees along the road.
Maintenance on a Lancia is brutal. I think the cambelts are good for about 25,000mi.
And the Willy is 99% as good in real world...
Some less powerful cars are faster in 4th than in 5th. They just cant pull it in top gear but get far better mileage in a relased cruising mode.
The spoiler is a drag chute. Put your arm straight out the window at speed and youll see what I mean.
I would be willing to bet that Ragnotti is getting more than a car out of the deal.
The spec is identical to the cup except that the steering wheel is on the other side. And the only place where it has a ragnotti logo is on the Inside of the glove box door. Rather discrete.
Every Renault is an Import isnt it? We ahd the same problem in Ireland. The insurance companies had a box to tick if the car was an import...didnt really make much sense, did it? Now if it said grey market or something like that...
It was a shame that VW dropped the ball with that car. With a bit of development work it would have been great. I think there was a special 16V G-lader version as well which was a very limited production.
Got a call this morning from the Renault garage that my Ragnotti is in. Drove down to take a look at it an maybe a photo or two only to find that it is on the way...
They just wanted a few pieces of paperwork filled out. Should be here this week though. Ill believe it when I see it!
Still...
Yes, Groupe B cars with the engine in the back seat certainly are not hot hatches nor are the Group A Lancia Delta Integrales.
Hot hatches are more like the S1600, or F2 rally cars, Front Wheel Drive with normally aspirated <2.0litre engines.
Big engined turbos, 4WD, mid engine etc...
Well, I hope the Ragnotti lives up to the reputation of the 172 and Willy.
I really dont count turbos in this class and especially not the 2 litre ones so I will put the Integrale up against the Evo and Subaru as well as the Celica GT4 where it really belongs.
My definition of a hot hatch...
And in France, they cannot order a Ragnotti because they were only going to build 200 in the first place, so they can only get the RS2 now, which is identical aside from the paint. But here in Luxembourg, I eagerly await my Ragnotti...
Amazing!
So whoever was responsible for that press release should get canned...
I sure hope you are right! I really dont want to be waiting for a already obsolete car. If I wanted that I would have just ordered an Evo VII!

So, king.stromba, as I asked before, does the stromba refer to the music or the drug? If that is indeed a photo of your good self, and I detect a bit of rage in your posts, Im starting to wonder...
I had a copy of the press release and read it yesterday. In it it states that the caster has been increased over the Cup/Ragnotti. As I have a Ragnotti on order, and it appears it would be built at the same time, on the same line, as the PS2 cars, I was wondering whether the new Cup/Ragnottis...
Just wondering how much the caster has been increased over the Cup/Ragnotti for the new PS. Anybody know? How is it done? A different part or is it adjustable?
Im also wondering if the later Cup/Ragnotti had the increased caster or was it only the PS that is getting the updated spec?
In...
Anybody know how mauch the caster angle was increased over that of the Ragnottti/Cup for the PS2/Silver Cup? That seems to be the only real change mentioned in the press release, aside from the option of the aircon.
How exactly was the caster increased and can it be retrofitted?
