I reckon it will get over 4K maybe just 4.5k. When i was looking it was hard to find a minter and this one sure looks a goodn. I would have been willing to pay a little over the odds for a minter as well so if it is as good as it looks in the pics then it is easily worth 4.5k.

To be honest i like those slit style vents. They are called "Cool Louves" or somthing. They look sh*t hot. They are stamped into the bodywork and so dont crack or out. Think they cost around £6 a slit so a normal vent each side of the bonnet which has 7 slits is £42 each side.

go for it then. But dont moan when your nice 172 is looking tatty a year on because of a cracked vent. What you should do is go down southend or something and have a good look at all the modded cars and see how many have crack lines etc. Its fine if your willing to have it re-done every year...

Dont do it. Anything like that will crack in no time. They might look good for a yr but will start cracking and need redoing. I know loads of people who have feature cars with evo f50 vents etc and everything filled and smoothed and it seems that once a year they need to have everything re-done.
