There 0-100 speed is supposed to be faster than a valvers so it is feasible that it would win.
Not sure what it would be like 0-60 though against mine as we always been rolling start.
It might be the fact that it reaches 60-100 faster but before 60 or above 100 it is slower than mine!
As i said i had mine done by may mate (is a professional) for i think around £120. This was a new arch welded on. The job is superb and i am more than happy with it. Nick R saw it the day i got it back and was well impressed with the job.

The mrk 3 golf GTis are a peice of piss to beat. I love racing these as the owners always think that they are fast as feck but really they are heavy dogs!!
I thought i may as well upgrade when replacing and would prefer to buy from BB and have them fit the gear rather than buy from extreme and have them fit the stuff. Can trust BB!!
Has anyone had any experience with the product below. It information was copied and pasted from the BB tuning website. Reason i wanna know is my MOT is coming up and i need to replace my discs and pads and i saw this deal (see below). are they any good?

Admittidly mine aint the fastest valver BUT the 8v deffinatly had us on more than 1 occasion.
Differnt people think different things of the 16v golf and 8v. Some say the 8v is faster some say its slower.
All i can say is the 16v GTI is very similar to my valver and will beat the 8v at top...

I have spoken to many people about this and they say the valver box cant handle the power of the valver in low gears.
I done mine by hitting the limiter in 1st. Now i take it easy in first every time.
Sorry i fogot to say the 8valve is totally standard.
the 16v Golf is was very lightly modded (zorst etc) and mine is very lightly modded.
Not sure if the 8v is a one off fast 1 or whether they are all fast.
I have raced both the mrk 2 16v GTI and 8v GTI several times.
The 16v GTI is so similar to the 16v that we always joke that at any speed we cant pull away from each other. Even seem to top out at the same speed.
The 8v GTI is different and can beat my valver every time. Not by much though...
What sort of companys will make you a box and how much would you expext to pay for a box to house 2 x 12" subs. I would want it to be made to fit the car perfectly.
If i do it i think that i want to do it properly like luke did. I want the really thin screens.

I knew a lad who owned a mint Fiesta RS tub (mildly modded), Clio 16v (chipped) and a sh*tty old 205 1.9. He said the 205 was the fasted out the lot and the most fun to drive. Probably would go along with him. He also considered the 16v to be faster than the RS turbo by just a little.
Cant remember but when i swapped mine for the leather trim i found the front door cards harder than any other part. The back ones took bout 5 mins each.
Never raced one of the Nova 2l. There is a Corsa in my town and the owner is having the 2l 16v lump dropped in so think thats going to be proper rapid.
Also i have heard that there is a Nova GSI which has got a 2l turbo lump dropped in around my local are. Think i will leave that well alone...
