Spotted the Trophy parked up in Corwen; and followed the V6 all the way from Corwen to the Services in Oswestry, on a private plate and looked mint tbf.
Anyone on here?
In Tesco Petrol station opposite Police HQ then followed us down the A48. Had Amphasight Turinis and an absolutely hideous after market exhaust dangling down below the rear bumper; looked like it was held on with cable ties. Sounded awful.
Chick driving it was quite cute though.
Had my 36k service done just over a week ago at Renault Bridgend and then had my brakes done yesterday at Renault Neath. Driving home earlier noticed a funny smell in the cabin so took it easy just to get it home. Reversed up onto my drive and the smell got much worse, switched off the engine...
Got my arse up to North Wales last weekend for the Plains Rally. First time I'd ever been to these Forests so was just wandering aimlessly looking for a good spot or two.
Came home with a few shots I was pleased with:

Two of my mates just phoned me pissing themselves laughing after seeing some twunt in a Trophy driving through Neath with his music absolutely blaring.
Guy sounded like a right chav by their description.
Hope to bloody God they were mistaken and it wasn't a genuine T.
Spotted a RB 182 and a Arctic Blue 182 on the M4 earlier around 4:30; anyone on here? I was in the Trophy covered in birdshit after it was attacked by fecking seagulls in the car park at work
Rhod.
Thought I'd share a few shots I took at the weekend from a very cold and windy Epynt. Some absolutely superb machinery out which made for some good action.

1. Silver 172 Cup on the A465 approaching Llandarcy roundabout at around 11:30am today; had a slightly silly looking aftermarket exhaust.
2&3. Silver Phase 1 172 being followed by what I think was a Megane 225 F1 on the B4333 outside Newcastle Emlyn around 5pm.
4. Silver 182 parked outside a...

Attended the Harry Flatters Rally over the weekend, and had the misfortune to witness this:
Driver walked away unhurt but co-driver was knocked out cold. He has since made a full recovery. The Williams is a complete wreck obviously.
Couple of other shots from the two days...
With the Harry Flatters rally on the Epynt Ranges, maybe they all thought they were competing or something?
Wasn't pleasant to come over a brow to see a 182 on the wrong side of the road overtaking on a blind corner, no more than 100 yards away, desperately trying to catch up with the rest of...
Couple of pics from a hillclimb I attended at the weekend. Great variety of cars, but I was only really interested in the "Rally Car" Class.
Hope you like.
A couple of Clios to keep things on topic:
Something different to finish:
Cheers...
Only remembered just this minute, actually spotted you twice last Sunday. First time was on the A40 when you were coming into Carmarthen, then again in the afternoon when you were heading back towards Haverfordwest. I'd been down to watch the Bob Shaw Memorial rally at Talbenny.
Anyone?
Well since this event uses stages virtually on my door-step, it would have been rude to miss it! Here are my efforts from a cracking event.
I think this chap spends more time sideways than any other driver. Highly entertaining!
Thanks...
Thought I'd share some photos I took at the Tour of Epynt rally on the weekend, there were some absolutely stunning cars out to play!
All comments welcome!
Start off with some modern WRCs:
Some Group B machinery:
And for the Escort Mark II fans...
Just a few random shots from The Dean last Saturday:
Rally winner Andy Burton in his 420bhp Pug'worth monster:
Some WRC machinery:
Various:
All taken with a 350D and a 70-200 F4L.
Rhodri.
**EDIT** Maybe this would be better in General Automotive & Motorsport Mods?
Looking for something to replace the 18-55mm kit lens that came with my 350D. I've got a 70-200 F4L so want something decent to cover <70mm and improve on the following type of shot:
Got around £150 - £200 to play with.
Suggestions?
As you can see, absolutely terrible conditions for photography with a combination of rain, fog and very poor light; so just used the event to mess about with settings etc, ready for this main events to come this season.
Any comments/criticism welcome...
All at around 4:30pm this afternoon:
1. 172 Cup in Baglan McDonalds Drive-Thru. Had a set of Lexarse lights.
2. Inferno 182 in Briton Ferry heading towards A48. Looked like the driver had ram-raided Halfords. Lots of mesh, chrome etc.
3. Arctic 182 about 100 yards behind the Inferno...
Excuse my ignorance, but will they fit a Trophy?
I bought a set of grooved discs and Mintex pads for the Cup just before I p/x'd it, but never got round to fitting them.
I'm pretty certain they fit but just wanted to make 100% sure.
Cheers.
Six and a half minutes of pure commitment/madness. Keep an eye out for the section between 5:01 - 5:06mins into the stage.

I doubt you'll see commitment like that ever again in the WRC!
RIP to a legend.
Couple of shots I took earlier today. Starting to get a feel for the DSLR now so these are slightly better than my WRGB efforts (at least I think they are!).
Comments/constructive criticism welcome!
Cheers!
Whilst driving home from rugby last week I exited the M4 westbound at the A465 junction, and noticed a white van tailgating another car coming onto the M4, he then proceeded to swerve around this car onto the hard shoulder and accelerated passed; even though the car in front was indicating to...
Thought I'd jump on the bandwagon! I've re-sized them to make them load a bit quicker.
Bear in mind this was my first outing with the DSLR so still trying out new things and experimenting etc...
