the soft clutch is pants, i drove a valver with it on and it felt wierd, very springy without the pressure(if that makes sense), stick with a firm clutch, you know you wanna!

devil ones also sound like oe ones, im my opinion the best exhaust for a clio!

no i used to be methodical when checking things under the bonnet, i went for an mot in march and the car passed with flying colours not a single thing wrong at all, you dont buy a valver to cruise around in, you buy one to race or thrash, the engines are solid but you have to look after them...

i spent 2.5k in total in the first year and this car had a headgasket changed at 96k and its now on 120K, sorry anyway you look at it, its gonna cost you money CARS DO! If you dont want problems get a nissan micra they are chaep and cheerfull and reliable and PANTS! There are some exeptions...

Im just waiting to sort out a price for my dead valver with the insurance, i have taken my magnex off but when i buy another valver, if it has one on you can have first refusal on the magnex £100? this is from the catback, if you want a new one I would shop around, you shouldnt pay more than...

did the batterey light come on? sounds like the alternator? any squealing noise? In my old XR2 i was driving along and the stereo just stopped working and then the headlights dimmed, turned out to be the alternator!

what about the power loss?

i brought the material to do my door card inserts which was leatherette it cost me about 5 quid per metre, now if you cant find anywhere else to get it from contact me at my email and i will get it for you as it about a ten min drive from me. They did mention that they are relocating to Dorset...

Jonm - I agree with wongy on this, I have made some good friends over these boards from all over the country, i have never met Rhys but i have posted up and had a conversation with him before. If my 16valve got nicked I would want advice/comments/support for my loss so stop being such an idiot...

bubbles - I was the high bidder on that valver, if you want say your me, as my insurance havent pulled their thumb out yet. I still think the reserve is high, offer him 1200 see what he says, there was another one black with gold rims check out ebay. What i would do with the other one is go...
