Nah you get some rivets with it and use them to attach it to the standard plastic footrest. You need a rivet gun and the rivets expand and pop and this attaches the new on to the old one.
Maybe these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3973.html ? Or something a bit cheaper possibly these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/4884.html ? I had a set in the dash in my old Mk1 similar to the JBL ones and they were good for the size.
I used to have one as my first car. 0-60 was about 11secs and had 75bhp. Very scary on the standard 13" steelies I found. Had electric windows which was nice.
Ye you will have to take the front bumper off as there are 2 bolts holding the wing on behind it. Also prob the side skirts and the arch liners will need to be unbolted from it.
Is the black surround the bit with 1.2 or 1.4 written on it? If so it doesnt come off I think just use a flat headed screwdriver to prise the orange repeater off and put the new one on :)
As Middo says dont get an induction kit. Put an ITG or K&N fiter in and get some larger airfeeds to replace the standard ones. Done this on mine and it sounds awesome and has better pickup. Can post some pics if you like.
Ive just got some Focal speakers in the rear at the moment. Still got an Alpine head-unit in the garage from my old Clio, but cant be bothered to fit it.
Ive got those repeaters on mine :) look real nice. Just put some tape around the repeater so you dont scratch the paintwork then use a flat headed screwdriver to pop them out.
From that picture I think the exhaust mount will go through the top hole in the rubber so that it will sit slightly higher than the standard Renault on which has a hole in the middle.
Where did you get the Ford rubber mount from dannyb? :)
Deffo get a cup spoiler. I changed from standard 172 one and it looks so much better!! One of the best exterior mods ive done. They are around £150 brand new from Renault and £30 for brake light.
