Yeah got one and have had mine chipped but never tried locking it off to see if there is any improvement since chipping.
Helps with fuel consumption. Will see if it is now a hindrance by locking it off for a while and see if the car feels better now chipped.
From what I have seen the oval part of the back box fits horizontally for Magnex back boxes and vertically (reducing ground clearance and aesthetically less pleasing) on the scorpion.
Passion arent the importers, just stockists and I dont think they have them on their website anymore.
Imported by same people as Supersprint exhausts. Cant remember who they are but they are based in Milton Keynes.
Supersprint website should say who they are.
Try saying that when pushing hard or hitting standing water on the motorway.
Bridgestone supply Ferrari F1 so it makes sense for them to supply their road cars. Bridgestone probably supply more sporting marques than anyone else.
Well Bridgestone S02 are renowned for probably being best but on searching the web can only find them in 205/45/16. Possibly available in 195/50/15 if that is your standard size but Im getting 16" wheels when I get new tyres.
S03s replaced these and arent as good. Think Goodyear Eagle F1s or...
Was trying to track down some S02 tyres for when my S03s run out but these are supposed to be the best available, as fitted to the Ferrari Enzo.
Cant wait till June when Ill have these on some Gold 16" Turini rims.
Dont think mine was set up on the RR, they just ask you a few things like if you use optimax etc and then put the chip in. Guess they have done loads so know what they are doing but I would have thought it would be individually tailored to suit the car on a RR.
My Bridgestone SO3s have been really good but dont think they are good when hitting standing water. Grip is good and consistent wear. Nearly had them 2 years now.
Apparently SO2s are better and will be looking for these when I get new tyres in a few months (Mission Impossible) or when I get...
Cheers guys. Places are advertising them in 15 and 16 but obviously not stating fitment and the flowforged ones in 17 and 18.
Dont wanna got to 17s to mess the handling up too much. Will give Speedline themselves a try though I doubt they will sell direct.
May be the cost of a holiday but my coilovers were probably best money I have spent on my car.
It is worth upgrading the stock suspension and brakes to fully appreciate the clio and what it can do. Even more so if any engine mods have been done.
Its no good spending money on the engine if...
Cable isnt too dear, about 15 quid from eurocarparts or the german, swedish, french place.
God knows about fitting. And I doubt the 126 quid price is incorrect that was mentioned above considering it included the new pedal assembly and fitting.
Sure mine is about 15mm lower at back than it was. Even measured it. Tyre just sits under the arch without hardly any gap now on 195/50/15s.
Id just get it lowered to suit the kind of roads you drive on and to whether or not you carry a few peeps in the car. As for overall mm olowered, I...
Meant 15mm at back but obviously couldnt type. Rear tyre just sits snugly under the arch now without anyone in car. Front is probably a bit more but done so that the stance of the car is level and front end lower than back.
Got mine lowered one spline (ish) at the back which is roughly about 1mm and more at the front so the car is level.
Handling is a lot better now, looks more aggresive and also allows me enough road clearance. Whatever you lower it by remember more weight in the car (passengers or boot full of...
Think Leda do for the 1.8 16v as I asked them ages ago and now we get discount. Bit pricey for what I wanted and heard a few stories from Scooby owners regarding warranty work etc.
Hope I havent offended anyone with my comments, just gone on feedback from what I have heard on the forum and from what I have gleaned from various car places.
I dont take critisicm of a product from one place to mean anything as sometimes it is because they do not stock the item or have a...
Can recommend the FK Automotive coilovers I have had for just over a week now. Didnt pay for the damping adjustable ones as I feel the standard Highsport ones are OK for fast road use. Unless I was doing tracks and wanted to set up for them (who actually does this) I dont feel the extra...
Pulled mine off with mole grips which just left the plastic bit on the shaft and that didnt take long either. Then nice momo fits on and allen key tightens it.
If I could get Mobil 1 for that price I would do my own but would rather pay 15-20 quid for semi sythetic rather than twice the price for synthetic and get it done more frequently.
National Tyres usd to charge 15 quid with a voucher in the paper for Duckhams QXR semi syth but have now put it up to £20. Still goog though as oil is that on its own and it includes filter and labour.
My local is an arse though as they reckoned they couldnt get teh filter so I paid 15 quid...
I would ask Ktec as they seem to do them for most Clios but there still may not be one for the 16v/Willy.
If not get a BMC CDA with fabricated throttle body adaptor OR the new IMG Maxogen thing if they make one.
I believe FK Automotive do them, anything between 6 and 70 mm:
http://www.FK-Automotive.dewww.FK-Automotive.de and should be able to get them from the same place I got my FK Coilovers:
Performance Driven: 01823 338696
According to catalogue part number for 50mm is FK133 25Z
