Then come to meanstreet then Rob, its going to be puka, can see my car there.. if not for the cars, just come for the essex birds getting the tits out.
insurance groups has nothing to do with the phase of your clio, no matter if its a p1 or p2 its still a 1.8 16v at the end of the day...
i have to agree about the clios driving postion, its total w**k. ive got used to my valvers driving over time, im still tempted to remove the adjustable runners to lower the seating postion.
i drove blazes 172 @ BBPT RR day too... lovely car tho again kak driving postion. My old XR had a...
it also goes without saying that you have to buy a pearl black clio too... evidently the best colour to buy..
Mikey16v was it you that parked up with me, Glenn, Ben H @ brands hatch where we all parked our black valvers up in a straight line in an empty space in the cp where everyone come over...
To be truthful, its hard to find a nice example these days.. it took me 6months to find a mint 16v, in which i bought from a guy from this fourm. he was an enthusiast that wrapped it in cotten wool. i bought it with 40k miles for £4200 (very cheap i thought at the time) well over a year ago now...

i suspect your engine just runs alittle hotter the usual. f7ps in my view run hot anyway, so it shoudnt make to much of a difference. just added cooling.
get it sorted if i was you..
God knows.. its made up of some kind of fiberglass type materials by the looks of things, prob not a good idea replacing with card becuase of heat distribution. id sooner hook up a hairdryer ==> battery before shelling £40 for a new sheild... thats a days wage for some people.
Sounds abit silly to me... why would you wunna race in a straight line for 2miles ? i wouldnt waste the petrol. Never saw the point in rev your car to the limiter in 5th
Connect your cable back onto the gearbox end, then remove the plastic gromit clip that your clutch ped rests on. press your clutch in & out a few times (you will hear the adjuster clicking like a goodn) replace the gromit clip...
You should have use of all gears now.
kwikfit may not even do it... getting a quote and them actully doing it is 2 different things. They dont like hardwork. To change the oil filter on a 1.8 16v is even harder.. i tried once myself.................. i failed badly.
As a result a rang Renault in Basildon telling them what a...
Are they able to repair stone chips etc without respraying the whole panel? i washed the car last friday and nearly threw a fit finding 3 - 4 nasty scratches :( i do alot of motorway driving you see, and seem to pick up all crap!! im on my 3rd winscreen!!
so can they?
I think this is a problem everyone suffers from with there 16vs... Having said that every car ive owned has had a temperamental passenger side window. If it really bothers you that much you could try to oil the runners maybe?! not sure if the motor has anything to do with it.. its as if the...
50 Amps Wongy? you sure m8.. it takes more then that to wake my hamster! do you mean maybe 500amps?
Daz,
The RAC bloke advised i get a 400 Amp based battery, the one on the car was clearly labled "390"he suggested this was not ideal and would need atleast a 400. When i got down to the garage...
i had a Toad A1606 supplied and fitted for £300, ive never had "any" issues what so ever. would seriously suggest looking into a Toad based security system..
few issues starting the car this morning, seemed to die when turning the key. anyway, i knew it was the battery however had my fingers corssed it was as a result of a faulty alternator! called the RAC out, confirmed alternator was ok, however alittle weak?! (nothing to worry about) and after...
James,
i have this problem. unless my car is at a total standstill i have to fight at times to get it in first gear!! all over gears are fine, and so is my clutch. However when my clutch cable snapped, and i had to replaced it.. i found first gear slipped in fine!! and was perfect for about 2...
