Hey, has anybody had the turbo conversion that they do for the 1.8 clio? there r 2 packages; package 1 is about 4000ish, package 2 is about 6000ish. they rekon the 172 conversion will be ready at the end of the year i think, their sposed to be sending me a brochure on the 1.8 version so as i can...
hey Leigh, Just interested in ur 4 pot brake kit u got xtra cheap....where did u get it? did u have it fitted in the same place? the price sounds good. thanx. :D any pics? coloured pots etc...
lo, i have short shift and there is a big difference its a lot better than the standard. reverse is the same lift up but instead of pushing forward it sort of bends round to the left ever so slightly. same with 5th but if ur a decent driver ul be used to it in about 2mins. :cool:
hey all, my 172 has bin lowered 25 at front and 30 at back, i have super l 17s on with ar539 tyres the ride is a little harsh on the towns bumpy roads but once on a decent road all is forgotten! my rear left tyre rubs slightly sometimes on full lock or with a full car load this is a combination...
hey, gona be gettin a brake conversion done soon on my 172, anybody had theirs uprated? wot sort of cost am i looking at, or good manufacturers and any other info? :confused:
hey, havnt got the dollar yet but roamer has had his ecu remapped, rolling road and his rev counter upd to 8000 revs at power enginering in uxbridge...350, ask him to volunteer any info on here mate, :D
hey roamer, wot do u mean by "cut out the non open squares" mate for the viper? i had mine put on at k-tek {lazy fecker} so hadnt looked at that maybe, cheers.
not yet mate, interested in that meself, david did seem to have good things to say about the kit a while ago while it was being finalised...i dont think its long finished so maybe v.few have it yet :)
hey, iv had a similar thing on my 172...just one side though, v.annoying. in the wheel arch there r about 2 or 3 screws and the tyre was barley catching it but wot a noise. iv had the screws taken out and riveted instead, done by david at k-tek for minimal cost. also look at ur tyre...i have...

hey, trouble is ppl is that i was a bit green to the modifying thing and just plain feckin robbed, bit like gettin a dodgy plumber in cos u dont know how to change a washer and gettin charged 400 for callout, parts n labour, everybody gets robbed once i jus learnt the hard way :oops: xcuse me...
hey, just wanted to air my views on GT TUNING. i bought my 172 in feb and wasnt going to mod it then i got the bug, as u do. i found GTT website and liked the look of it so without looking around i burned on down there to have my b**ch lowered, i was dropped off in a nearby village in the middle...
hey fred, couldnt they do the supachip in that price? where r these power engineering ppl and have they got a website? so....the rev limit adjusted will that put a strain on other parts like butre says? bring on the info! :cool:

hey, iv got a k-tek zorst...twin pipes, build and sound is good v.happy with it...my girlfriend said wot do want one of those for and it hurts her ears cheeky wench nearly got a backander, hope to be at brands hatch on the 17th for all to c. i agree with u roamer..gota keep up wiv the joneses...

hey rwaterman, i paid cash for my 172 a year ago from "trade sales" in slough, they took just a week to get it for me @ 12grand, they offered me 9.2 apr if i wanted it, i just wanted a brand spanker that no fecker had thrashed or something that would fall off 2 weeks l8r! iv had no probs with it...

thanks for input so far :D . Benr, i jus logged onto a site called nitrous-solutions.com very informative and they have several set up kits available, jus depends on wot size bottles or how many, electronic regulator so as its not all wacked in at once, big bottle small jet or little bottle big...
