as iv asid lots of times on here, my dad has had one for about 3 year with no problems at all. I've had a loads of laptops over the years and the Asus seems really decent and well built. (not as much as my thinkpad but they are the ultimate in build quality) :)

Which is the best one for the money? I've found the best deal on the Nikon is £267 with Nikon cashback and the best deal on the 400D is £350 with Canon cashback and a free 2GB memory card! Both free delivery! Both pretty good prices but is the Canon worth the extra cash?
