    I keep wanting a v6

Do it, but I warn in advance, these feelings never leave. So many of them become keepers! If you prefer the phase one, go for it. They are basically the same car with the same rewarding ownership experience. Fantastic cars, hold their value & relatively cheap to own.

La Vie En Bleu - Prescott

Yes, I did spot your cars in the paddock, went over and had a good look round them, good turnout with 5 of them!! lovely motors. Very true. Unless im going mad, im pretty sure there was a second one there too. It had disapeared when i went over to take a photo though.

Renault Sport #10 New car content

I dont think Janspeed deal with public directly. He got it from Larkspeed, theres a recent post on v6clio.net about it titled "full janspeed system". Thanks, i really loved that car! No, I sold it for a house deposit, but got another phase one, this time totally standard. Mines the Mars red one...

Renault Sport #10 New car content

Standard it comes with slash cut tailpipes, but a a member of v6clio.net has just ordered one with straight. No i didn't video the car, but heres a pic: +25hp but also +45kgs. O-120mph ish, theres bugger all in it between them, the ph2 does ever so slightly creep ahead after that. Handling...

Renault Sport #10 New car content

Cracking motor you have got yourself there!! The phase ones are significantly rarer in the UK that the phase twos and rarer still in decent nick. Will only get more special over time. Enjoy! Being a phase one the janspeed off the shelf exhaust fits directly. K-tec sell it. I had the...

    Mars Red V6 #111

The problem with that analogy is that you didn’t buy and you’re not going to sell your mrs. That said, the v6s don’t like to be left alone. Better to use them regularly. Just better kept to sunny days as Renault weren’t exactly forthcoming with rust protection on the chassis & suspension...

    Clio V6

Not an investment as such as the cost of owning it will negate any profit. ... possibly with the execption of the ultra low mileage cars with sub 1k miles on the clock. Depreciation proof fun though for sure. For the majortity of cars, even if they are worth 40-50k in 20 years time, you would...

Mk1 V6 Clio steering wheel material?

Whilst its top workmanship, a better solution and miles better than a scabby wheel... Whats in that picuture is not the same material or colour as the original wheel.

ph1 vee, few pics before winter sorn

Cheers guys. I wasn't 100% about mars red before I got it. Ive always liked it, but its not the normal colour I would go for. I still hanker after an acid, illiad or another iceberg vee, but really enjoying the mars now. Its just different and shows the lines off well after a polish. I am...

ph1 vee, few pics before winter sorn

yeah mesh is still on the bumper, you can see it better here: The wheels are currently unrefurbished and are pretty good, but not perfect (as you would expect on a 12 year old car). Pitting has started and there are a few marks. SG motorsport knows a place that matches OEM finish perfectly so...

ph1 vee, few pics before winter sorn

Thanks, I want to keep it 100% OEM so wouldnt put any ph2 parts on it. Not convinced that the ph2 18s sit right on the ph1, think its something to do with the different off sets. 2003, however there are some later registered ph1s and earlier registed ph2s so anywhere between 02-05! Thanks...

You prob do know it. It used to be SY02 PJO & was also on D8 CRE for many years. #086. I too know 5 of the 8! I have reg plates of three more (4 including TOM0001), but dont have the plaque numbers to cross reference, so they may be duplicates.

1 of the black ones was the original t reg prototype (which is now in the renault flins collection), the other was a crash test car. There was 1 sunflower yellow crash test car too. I do not know where the nocturne is, likely in the Renault collection again. There is a silver that has been...

can you see this page? http://v6clio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=18834 if not ill see if i can post some pics on here. Both the black and Nocture Phase 1's were originally silver. A few owners elected to change colour recently. There were black and nocturne cars made ( I believe one...

172 Exclusive, only done 10,000 miles!

Great find! Low mileage isnt a problem if its serviced regularly & looked after. That car is not far off the age/mileage of my v6. Shame about the wing, but the interior looks immaculate. If a similar example ever turns up in sunflower I'd be all over it.

    This v6 colour rare?

You cant put silver pods on a blue or red ph1!! Makes it look like a copy of ph2. Also, the ph1 pods are a different shape and just dont look right painted silver (unless on a silver car of course). The side pods should stay the same colour they were sprayed at the factory.

    This v6 colour rare?

Very rare spot! Only 6 of the 8 UK acid yellows left. The one in OPs post has even rarer full leather pack and is one of the nicest v6s I've ever seen. Nice to hear your still have the illiad ph1 Cat! Also extremley rare now, do you still use it? Do you have any recent photos? Love illiad ph1s!!
