Sorry to bump an old thread. Just been out in the car and noticed that i had approx 1 inch of water under the drivers seat. Wont be able to look at it until the weekend.
Any input?
This would be the first thing to check. The guy I work with came in on friday flapping that his wipers didn't work. I asked if he had checked the fuse, he hadn't so I checked it and it was blown.
He was going to book it in at VW!!
My wife phoned me a couple of days ago asking how to reattach the wiper. (I had already gone to work) I asked her why she was asking.
She had jumped in the car whilst it was still very frosty, the first thing she did was switch the wipers on.
They were frozen to the screen.... she had managed to...
Agreed.. Get a Genius appointment. I smashed my screen at work. Took to the Apple shop and they just replaced the phone free of charge. Excellent customer service.
My 182 has sprung a leak..
It is the usual water in the footwell problem. I have checked the sill drains are clear, I have taken the wheel arch liners off and cleaned out all the crap.
It is wettest under the drivers seat. From what I've read on here it sounds like the water is coming in through...
Bad luck fella.
When I bought my car I drove it to my parents house as my Dad wanted to see it. My youngest brother was there and asked to have a quick go in the car around the block.... Stupidly I gave him the keys.
All 4 alloys WERE perfect:mad:
As he drove down the road towards me I could see...
I am going to be at Total Vaux as well, my mate asked me to go ages ago.. Sods law it has ended up on the same day as CSS!!
