My glove box cover is hinged on two plastic arms & I need to remove it (not the whole glove box) so I can replace the handle. Don't want to risk snapping the two plastic arms, but not sure how to safely release the cover (door) from the glove box?
Been told by my mechanic that I need to replace the n/s/f link arm... Need to order the part but not sure if he means 'inner track rod'? Are they the same thing? thanks...
Thanks M.. I'll check the appropriate fuses tomorrow in daylight if it's not p1ssing down with rain like today. I'll try some different cigarette socket plug adapters in case it is a 'plug too short' or 'socket too deep' issue ;) The original cigar lighter is missing and socket does look rusty...
So, I'm a complete Clio novice and don't have the original owners handbook for the car. Haven't picked up a Haynes manual yet and need to solve a few issues.

My Clio is a 1.4 (1390cc) 16v ... Log book says first use 22/10/2003 .. I've seen loads of engine codes on the forum i.e. F4R - F7P - 197 -172 - F7R - 182 - 255 etc. Haven't got a clue what they mean!? Does anyone know the correct code for my Clio? Thanks in advance, Steve
