I think the clio runs alot smoother with higher octane fuel. This is probably because it burns slower but I find that you can more performance out of 95 octane. I just put 97ron sainsburrys (BP) super in it. I used to put optimax in but I think its over-rated.

They are drums on the 1.4. and the diks on the front are the same as the 1.6 unless youve changed it from standard. I think the front ones are enough to clean!
