no dont panic no 6*9s dont want a sub in a box so am gonna go for - pioneer ts-w304f 12" sub (free air) - rockford fosgate 250m (mono amp) - alpine cda-7894rb with the h/u will i need an adaptor for the normal isos and another for the stalk remote... ian

noel, cheers for that do you have the standard headunit or not, and i presume youre disconnected the rear speakers and run more cable....

hence why id like to put behind the panels. i had 6*9s on my old fiesta but under a stealth shelf... dont know how much extra hacking up of the door would need to be done though which is why the shelf might be the answer, but then id have to get a new h/u and an amp so i can keep everything...

tom- just spoke to a guy at alpine sales and he said that you can only have the steering wheel control, the head up display is lost as all their HUs have displays there is no need to duplicate it. arse.

tom, which alpine model? according to a chap at incardiscount.co.uk you can get a sinlge adaptor for some kenwood units (newer 02 ones) that does both. Ian

Hi all, Need to clear this up and see if people have done it... You can get steering remote adaptors for Alpine, Kenwood and Sony HUs, you can also get a screen adaptor for the Alpines but ive been calling about and according to everyone Ive spoken to you cant physically have both adaptors...
