If it does, the fuse will be located in the fusebox on the side of the dash just inside the passanger side.
If you consult your manual it should tell you which fuse is for which function, if you can't find any then the best thing to do is check them all. Ideally you should check all of your...
I can put in your details onto my system, it'll tell me which McGuard's set you'll need.
If you can provide me with your reg that'd be awesome, otherwise I need the year it was produced.
Get some 3000 grit sandpaper from Halfords (think they do it) for a couple of ££, get some cutting compound and go over the area with the paper first but not too hard as you'll go through the lacquor. Go over the top with cutting compound (best to use with a rotary) and then polish with rotary...
Mine were slightly perished, but here goes:
From memory...
Raise the car and take the wheel off, point the steering inwards to allow for more room.
Use a 10mm (iirc) spanner/socket to undo the bolt on the bottom.
Use a long bar to push down the ARB, either put the end of the bar under the...
I did this to mine and it was a piece of p*ss, just use a jack to lift your front end up...Then get the old one out by using two molegrips (if they have perished and the nut has come off), if not use a 10mm (iirc) spanner to get the nut off the bottom and then use the molegrips to twist in...
Tried using "intensive tar remover"?
Many different manufacturers do some sort of product that does this, I use AutoGlym and it's really good.
About £6 from Halfords.
If this doesn't help, best thing to do is buff it.
I don't have a sport, but if you read the manual you should be able to find a section about these. Iirc you should hear a "beep" to let you know that the settings have been changed.
If this fails, consult your manual to see which fuses are which inside the fuse box (side of the dash just inside...

If he's a bit worried about going private then find a good warrenty from a garage that's got a good reputation, obviously you'll pay for this but if he's buying a high mileage car its perfect.
However good golfs are, if it hasn't been treated right it'll be the worst of the worst.
I was on the lookout for a tdi a few weeks ago, seriously searching and found much niver tdi's (150bhp) around the same year that had a much nicer interior etc and was about £4800 - £5200.
Keep looking, bear in mind if you're going for trade it will always be a lot more expensive than...
As long as there are no bits dropped down into the cylinder and the thread for the spark plug isn't damaged you should be fine. The only thing i can think is if you've not put the plug in properly and the pressure has blew it out.
I'm just toying with the idea of doing an engine conversion from a 1.2 to a 1.6, i'm just wondering apart from the engine...what other parts would i need?
This might seem a daft question but in this area i'm no expert lol and i don't want to price everything up that i think to find i've left...
Just a note...There's a few pictures missing from the first page(s) as I recently moved some of the images around in my photobucket account, I'll reupload all of these images to my own server and make sure they're all working :)
I really was impressed with that packaging mate, I spend so much time wrapping up parcels for delivery because I don't want the items to get damaged and this is probably the first time I've recieved one thats been the same :)
I'm keeping the bedsheet by the way....As a dustsheet :)
** UPDATE **
Yesterday I got home to find a couple of packages, first one I opened to find my new headlights and the second I opened to find a wing.
The wing turned out to be second hand, mint condition but still second hand (ebay bullsh*tter) but I wasn't at all bothered because it's...
