Do you think it will fit into my headunit without a problem...
Np, glad it helps, hope to hear how you get on.
Im going to be ordering mine sometime next week and one of the 2 adapters, still havent decided which - you got the autoleads one right?
Im hoping to fit the changer onto the tray and drop the tray under the floor. The issue I found was without...

RIOT, I had a look at mine not long after getting the car, my 10disc sony wouldnt fit (actually it would be the loading mechanism was blocked) but the T70MX should fit easily.
Im lucky as I have a renault multichanger under the seat so I plan to house my new changer into the same tray...
RIOT, Ive read about the Connect2UK lead http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=5&TopicID=35780&PagePosition=1&ThreadPage=1http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=5&TopicID=35780&PagePosition=1&ThreadPage=1 and Im waiting for you to install your...
Also, ive got it capured, its a big wobbly (a lot) and its only goes to about 139 before I have to slow but here it is for those who are interested:

This was on the Saturday when everyone went shopping, me, arj, v6 and jamesg went for a blast down to france and around some excellect roads. Think neil said he got to 150 whem me and arj were doing 140.
I had a 306DT before my 172 and I loved it. Very low insurance (group 4/5) and i enjoyed it. It was a diesel tho and the turbo was short. Maybe worth getting one chipped. Different kettle of fish to the 172 tho.
Just got reply from incarexpress and they say that the adapter they sell is in fact the Connects2 UK one and there is nothing different between the two however they feel that this one is more reliable.
In Euro I got to an indicated 139 but then had to stop for traffic, although the car was still pulling and had about 750rpms left. trouble is we are all getting around the 135-145 marks which can easily be the tolerances in our speedos.
Yeah, I too like the mk2 wheels and aparently they were chosen because they were light (?) but I also like the cup wheels, I was planning on buying some speedlines before the cup came out and now they are on the cup im really glad i didnt.
Mine is mispaced and its been in to Renault many times inc. 12k service. They even put my plates on the car before they sold it to me so its never been registered with any other plates.
However I believe the MOT is a different story :(
Actually, I was quite impressed with Elephant when finding out about mods. You can do it on their website too.
I think it worked out about £100 extra for IK, Lowering <50mm, Exhaust, Tints and chipping.
Ah, so youve got the head and adapter fitted (can a sony head be fitted wihtout adapter?) and now adding the MP3 Changer. Love to find out if it works as this is what I am planning as my 10cd sony wont fit where the existing changer does under the passenger seat and I dont want to mess with a...
RIOT,
Youve absolutely right, I do have a Sony head (MDX-7900R) quite old but MD so thats why I kept it as I hate handling CDs in the car - esp. when driving. I always expect to go over a bump and snap the cd with half of it in the slot.
Love to hear your views on the Autoleads adapter...
