I think the wipers is the same principle but moving the stalk down/up instead of lights on/off. Not sure if you just move the stalk down one position and back or whether its all the way to the bottom and up again.
Yeah, Rob mentioned how to enable/disable the auto lights
To enable disable the auto wipers do the following. Have the ignition on but can not running, move the wiper stalk down and up twice and that should do the trick (very similiar to the auto lights)
Should get a beep to confirm maybe -...
I heard (how true I dont know) is that the reason the discontinued the aluminium bonnet was to do with crash tests and safety. The bonnet plays a big part in a front impact. I guess they just wanted the 4/5 stars the clio got in the new crash tests.
Tom, mine went straight back and plugged in without a problem.
I even had the stereo on without the changer plugged in for a few days too. Didnt give me any grief at all.
Ive got some video but its probably not worth it as its from my camera so only 320x240 or something and a bit wobbly - I do have me doing almost 140mph tho but thats really jumpy too.
its real easy, did it about 6 months ago to see how much room was under there.
there are a few screws that need removing (2 at front, 1 at back maybe) and then the metal tray that the changer is mounted on comes out. Then there is a single pulg to disconnect it, it was very easy and I didnt...
I think mine was around the £185 mark (thought it was at 10k/12months not 12k/24mnths) - this was at the big renault dealer in west london. slightly more than others have quoted but i put that down to it being london. they even spotted and replaced my exhaust center section due to rattling (i...
Yep - agree there, but i dont notice them anymore.
If you wanted to stop it you could just replace the relays with some quieter ones (or wrap them up) - dunno where from as these are rain-sensitive controlled.
Apparently this is to lower the emissions from cold (new law that tests emission from cold) so it is lumpy. As said, there is an ECU update that will improve this. The mk1 172s dont do this (i believe) as when they came out the law was to test emissions after 5 minutes to allow engine/cat etc...
Did you ? Dont remember you saying that on the night, but you didnt look to comfortable in them. I dont think the free drinks were actually worth the trek.
Not the best picture but was just off the car specs from this site. (also its not quite a 172 interier but the dials look the same as mine)

When I came back from the euro trip last night I was passed by a silver V6 with the best plate, V6 6LLO which was made to look like V6 CLIO - such a great plate, anyone else see this on the way home, was on the M25.
No cliosport sticker as I pulled up behind it, but then it booted it (we were...
