1: Mk2 172 FF needed a new gearbox, I sourced a low milage 182 box and a Renault 'Specialist' local to me offered to fit it for a free machine polish/detail.
2: said 'specialist' fits my gearbox for me but forgets to replace bottom radiator hose clip

ESP Light remains on after gearbox change
Had my gearbox swapped over this weekend and now my ESP light and SERV light stay on all the time.
Any ideas how to get them to go out?

I rarely use my Gilmour these days on clients vehicles as I have a Karcher foam lance
The Gilmour is always fine for just giving the van its daily quick freshen up in between its weekly coat of wax, dont even get my hands wet lol

My problem turned out to be a fucked diff, completely lost all forward drive and only retained a little reverse.
All fixed now with a fresh 182 gearbox :)
Just had the gearbox swapped on the 172 and after refitting the Battery/ECU the radio now needs the 4 digit code.
Its not in my service manual or any documentation which I have.
Can anyone get the code if I PM them my VIN number?

They are both from the drivers door of a Mini Cooper S I did........granted one pic is taken in the workshop and the other outside.
