To be honest, I think it depends on your age and if you look responsible,
If its a private sale then you should be fine and you can always say you wount buy without a test drive.
If its from a dealer then they should have the insurance to cover you.
What im saying is that you shouldnt have...

BTW: On the 172 there is a small bit in the bottom middle of the windscreen that is unprotected, some law about showing passes or something, i believe they work through there.

I too am wanting this config, afaik the connect2uk lead does not support ID3 tags so you wont get the info on the remote display I may be wrong as this was from sony. Also, my Sony MD headunit is a little old but does have CD/MD changer support but no ID3 Tag support so the titles *might* not...
I was chatting to a salesman at Ren London West and he said that if you wanted to test drive the V6 you had to put £1,000 on the table to show you were serious. Not had problems driving anything else tho.
