Just got my new "motor". Its got a Pioneer KEH-P6020R headunit in it. Its not bad, so i was wondering what the biggest capacity CD changer i can get for it is
Cheers
As ive only got nine weeks and 2 days til my first is due, i know about the car seat thing! Weve got one from Mamas and Papas for the first new born baby months, but then ive got my eye on a one also from Mamas and Papas which matches the blue grey 172 leather/alcantra perfectly
Halfords also...
Should of got it mate. Adams-16vs guide would of maent it went in perfectly. Leather in clios is hard to find!! Even if you hadnt put it in, you could of sold it on no bother
I had mine sprayed over and the rust eventually returned. In the end got my mate (whos got a bodyshop) to cut the old arches out and put new ones in. Total price i paid for arches, fitting and spraying was about £200
And remember, it may well be worthwhile going to your local hospital and complaining of a stiff neck. (whiplash can pay thousands!!)
Where theres blame, theres a claim
Sorry about the car, but glad your o.k
Mine has just gone to the sprayers today. I had new arches put on, after unsuccesfully spraying over the rust. The bodyshop where i had them fitted said the new arches should prevent the rust, and they were gonna make sure they were "treated" underneath. To buy the full quarter panel was never...
But as of yet, theres no official numbers?? Someone must have some contacts in Renault to find out the numbers?! I thought we were recognised as a "serious" club by them!
Idle control valve on the bottom of the engine? or perhaps the petionmeter (spelling!?) thats what happened to mine, and the problems sound fairly similar
You can ignore Parkers or any other price guide when it comes to a Williams. In the pictures, it looks in excellent condition and with such a low mileage, i can only assume that its in good nick
As Williams in this sort of condition are getting harder to find, i think your valuation is a...
Ive never used my local Renault garage, a: cause there so bloody expensive and b: wouldnt trust them
I always take mine to Lex Autocentre. The same lad works on it all the time, and knows what hes doing with it now. Plus since my car now goes there for all services and M.O.Ts, they knock...
All old cars will eventually need some money spent on them, due to "wear and tear", but i wouldnt let that put you off. Quite simply i love my car, and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone
The front seats will go onto the existing frames in the car, all you need to do is drill a couple of holes per side (this isnt a problem)
The backs are slightly more tricky!! What i did was strip the 172 interior off the frames (it just unzips and unties). Do the same with the original clio...

My mate bought some of the suede look seat covers from Halfords. From a distance they looked fine, but they ended up moving all over and quickly lost their shape
In the end he unpicked the stitching on them, took them back and got a refund!!
