Clio's do not have vtec, or anything similar its due to the cam profiles. There is a cam shifter that changes the duration etc but hat switches on at around 1800 rpm. if its only higher up the rev range your having problems its something else. could be anything from a blocked cat to knackered...

A bit of an update!
Went off to Donnington Park on Sunday and met quite a few of the CS lads there.
Was bit damp and slippery early on but soon dried out. When it was dry was great fun but I struggled all day with the brakes, the EBC Bluestuffs were awful again, and they have trashed the new...
ive been looking for something decent to clean the seat belt type material for a while, i have silver SCHROTH harnesses and they are a little marked with oil etc that i cant get out :(
i honestly think you'd be better off with the standard air box and a panel filter. On my first 172 i had it rolling roaded before and after with a £300+ ITG Maxogen fitted and it lose 2 bhp and gained 4lb ft. i really would not expect those gains, especially when you look at the cost mate.
