Got my eye on one of them already and and uprated bypass valve. Prob the forge induction kit too, that's supposedly good for 20 odd Bhp!

Yeah your thinking of the new one jonny, the mk1 is supposed to be the better car, the mk2 has electronic limiters all over the place. The mk1 limits torque in 1st and second, otherwise it would probably be pointless!
It handles quite well too, and it handles the power really well, slight bit...
Its proper quick, really impressed. I think with general driving it should do 300 to a tank... at best!

big difference in the midrange torque tho fred, me and alex compared the graphs with mine prior to the bodies, and his torque curve was definitely better, nearly 20 ft lbs 2500 rpm earlier in some places!
The real results of a V6 airbox on my car:
193.3 Bhp with cams
163 ft lbs
Then rolling roaded with standard airbox 2 months later, same rollers prior to ITB fitting
192.7 Bhp
169.4 ft lbs
Stick to the standard box. It's very well designed! All figures from TDF's RR.
A sad sad day I'll really miss her! Last time I was with her, still feel gutted!! Did 120 miles to drop her off, and through the tunnels on the M25 it sounded immense!

was genuinely surprised how quick they were, i have only tried a mk2 so far, and have been told the mk1 is a faster car, my budget means im looking for a mk1, LSD etc as standard too
Hi tim, sorry mate did get your pm, didnt reply until i knew hat was happening. I still have the car, but wouldnt be fair to the lad who has bought it to bring it. I have a N reg 316 automatic to run around in until i have found a MPS with the rights spec, mileage price etc.
