Ok so my iMac won't boot up properly... I just have a grey Apple logo and the timer thing.
Tried turning it off and on a few times. Removed everything other than my power cable. It's still doing it. It's been running fine, just decided to fail on me..
I only use Parallel to dial into work. I was going to go for bootcamp, but there isn't much point. Parallell does the trick - W7 boots up in 5-10 seconds.
I used SL on my MBP. Now using Lion on my iMac... I wouldn't be that bothered if I didn't have Lion. But for £20 it would be silly not to. Lauchpad is nice :)

Use you iMac as you would normally and see how much RAM you're using. If you feel that you are near the threshold then get some more.
