Ok so my iMac won't boot up properly... I just have a grey Apple logo and the timer thing. Tried turning it off and on a few times. Removed everything other than my power cable. It's still doing it. It's been running fine, just decided to fail on me..

I only use Parallel to dial into work. I was going to go for bootcamp, but there isn't much point. Parallell does the trick - W7 boots up in 5-10 seconds.

Just installed Parallells Desktop, Windows 7 & Microsoft Office for Mac on mine :) Sucks having to use Windows, but I need it for work :(

I used SL on my MBP. Now using Lion on my iMac... I wouldn't be that bothered if I didn't have Lion. But for £20 it would be silly not to. Lauchpad is nice :)

It's only going to make a difference if you need it. If you're not using all your current RAM then it's pointless tbh...

Could I use the Lion CD which came with my iMac on my MBP? Or is it best you just format the MBP with Snow Leopard?

Any reason why my iCloud backup has been hanging for 15 minutes advising me it's going to take "about 3 hours" ? EDIT - It's backing up all my apps.
