Good read but really it's basic personal finance issues.
Paying minimum payment, think there is a calc somewhere that shows something like 7 yrs to pay off a couple of hundred at miniumum payment.
Like on RS etc some have had 7 or 8 new cars in the past few yrs i'd love to see there...
Read again, protected NCB;)
Also CCI were £120+ per event when i tried them.
As it's value of car related.
If i do 4 trackdays then my yrs insurance has cost me £218 :rasp:
Used to be with Greenlight with the 197 Cup, £387 + £50 per trackday.
Well i'm now with a company called Richard Egger in Nottingham.
£418 fully comp protected etc etc, with cover for '4 trackdays' included :D
Now got 2.0 Sport MX5.
May be worth a call to see if they cover Renaults etc.
Gearbox listen for whines etc, lift boot carpet check floor for damage.
Front dampers should have gap between cylinder & mount on damper, if not £400+ refurb.
Belts done, if not £300-600.
Tyres are £90 each, so do your research over on cliotrophy.
No brainer if you think about it.
2 - 2 1/2 yr old car vs new or nearly new for similar money.
Some R27's will be out of warranty soon, awaits price plummets:D
Depends on tread depth.
Just put 2 new mich's on front of wifes motor as the rears were hardly worn.
Then again fronts had 3mm+ left, just best to be safe this time of yr.
9.30 is slow for the taxi?
You would be amazed at what some owners can do round there.
Old guy in beaten up old Alfa was highly amusing, over dinner found out he owns the ring car hire firm & lives there:D
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
I remember taking my 14,000 mile Trophy to Sunwin & getting told £6K that was nearly 2yrs ago, so some of these prices are laughable.
As for looking at AT & PH stop looking at the ones for sale & get real. Look at the sold ones :rasp: thats true value.
