The one on the right has been changed before, it's some shitty thing from GSF or similar. You might be better off getting some Apex or Cooksport springs for it.
Hi Steve. Engine feels good, needs a little top up after each race. I like the 421 cams, so wouldn't be changing them.
Oil cooler is arriving today, so I'll get that fitted before Pembrey.
Also have a oil temp and pressure gauge arriving.
The last car I had seam welded; was my Escort rally car, even then it was stitch braized, rather than a continuous weld. Shell has to have some flexing it.
I agree with some bits, esp about Steve.
But the rest is not down to us. Date changes, circuit choices etc.
Invatation races were incase people couldn't race on a Sunday, so they would have a choice.
Angle grinder is more suitable.

172 Ph1 block with good crank (Early ph1 cranks are the better of them)
172 Ph1 head extensively ported by Neil Roper complete with uprated valve springs, Supertech valves and new valve guides
